Is it just me or is there other partners out there like this! I’m a SAHM to my 2yr old daughter, she starts 2yr old nursery in Jan so I’ll be going back to work a few hours a day... My partner (not my child’s bio dad) works from 9-5 and gets home about half 6 and while I don’t mind cleaning, cooking and taking care of my child through the day. I cook, clean and do everything else for his brother as well who lives with us! He’s 28 has two kids and well... doesn’t do a effing thing! Anywho moral of my story is. Do anyone else partner get in from work and demand dinner be on/ready when they walk in? Bare in mind this doesn’t happen very often it’s just that tonight I’ve been sorting the Christmas tree, bathing and sorting my daughter out and wasn’t expecting him to be home because he was going out for a drink after work... he got in and food wasn’t done, I’d just got out the shower and was going to sort it once I was done. He went to me “ so am I guna have to make dinner or are you going to!?” (Please take into account he wasn’t even supposed to be home) so I replied with (calmly) well I’m just going to dry my hair and do it unless you’re wanting to do it?” And well his reply was “ well I’m fucking starving, I’ve been working all day so I’ll moan at you if you don’t do it!!” One pissed off mama at this point. So my reply was seriously!? I told you I was going to make it once I’d dried my fucking hair!! Why the first thing you do is ruin my mood when you get in!? I was happy before ( tree was up and looking pretty, Layla was watching cartoons quietly, I’d put on my new Christmas jarmies and was looking forward to watching Christmas films together so I’ve had a pretty good day! Until now!)... done the dinner like a mug, and he complained!!!! I honestly cannot make anything without him picking something out that’s wrong with it every single time

Without fail!!! It was perfectly fine ffs! ... sorry for the rant but I’m currently sat in my very Christmassy jarmies with a blank screen on the tv fuming while my little girl has just fallen asleep on me and he’s fucked off to the gym and told me he’s going for a pint later with the lads.... Am I honestly in the wrong ladies!?!?
