Prehistory:

I have always had a long cycle. I’ve never been exact, but I’d say my average is 32-34 days. After having my second baby, We used condoms the first 10 or so months after he was born. Then I had a scare and decided to get on the pill. I HATED it. I probably took it for 4 months. Then, I got an IUD. I bled for 6 weeks so I just asked them to take it out at the 6 week checkup when they check the strings and went back to condoms. I had a VERY heavy period about 3 days after my IUD was removed. I bled for about 8 days. And now, I’m on day 22, waiting for my second cycle, and I just noticed pink when I wiped.

Question: is it normal to go so many years (I’m 29) at having a longer cycle, to randomly getting a short cycle? . .

Also: I have had an IUD after my first child and if anything, it pushed my cycles even longer, the IUD mentioned earlier was my second IUD.

Questin 2: Do you count pink wiping as day 1? I’m not used to this. Usually when I have my first day, it’s full blown red.
