when my son was born I was forced to supplement because my breast milk did not come in and when he was 3 days old we found out that he lost a pound well he's 6 weeks old now and I'm having a hard time getting him to take the bottle I still supplement a lot because my breastmilk is still very low what should I do he rather take the breast then the bottle and lately I've been told that he's not getting enough nutrition or milk does anybody have any advice on this people that have to supplement or were forced to supplement I know there's no way I am making enough breast milk for him to drink he's gaining weight but in the last two days he's decided that he does not want formula he hates it he gags every time I tried giving it to him he also has a cold so he's been spitting up breast milk and formula a lot more lately I need advice I really do the doctors really no help they tell me to feed him more formula more often and same thing with the breast milk but still nothing he rather sleep or be on the breast I also pump 3 - 5 times a day but my breastmilk is still very low I've tried everything literally everything
