Mid cycle bleeding

I have PCOS and have been TTC. I don’t ovulate on my own, so I don’t usually have a period. I took provera to induce a period and then took clomid on days 3-7. I should be ovulating this week, but instead I started bleeding on Thursday along with some “period” cramping. I called my doctor and they said it could be ovulation bleeding and to just see if I get an actual period in 2 weeks.

Well now I’m worried because it’s heavier than it was when I called the doctor. And TMI but there is clotting as well. I don’t know what it’s from and I’m really scared. Has this happened to anyone??
