6 week viability scan.

Hi all,

Its a long story so I apologise - I recently had IVF and a 5 day frozen transfer. I got my BFP and they did a blood test to confirm, but nurses were concerned it was low for what they expected. Fast forward 2 weeks and 4 blood tests later my HCG has gone up (although they still think it’s on the low side). The nurse basically told me originally I would miscarriage and then it was an ectopic so they booked me in to have a 6 week scan to see where the embryo was (because they were convinced ectopic).

So had a scan yesterday when I was 6 weeks and 1 day and they could see a gestational sac in the right place but it was measuring a couple of days small. However they couldn’t see a yolk or fetal pole, one nurse was negative and said it probably wouldn’t be viable but another had booked me in for a scan next week (when im 7 weeks) to see if there’s any growth.

I’m not feeling as tired etc as I did before so I’m worried I am going to miscarry.

Has anyone had any experience with all of this?
