How did your SO say I love you for the first time?

I’m just curious 🤷🏻‍♀️ my bf and I had been dating for about 2 months. We were just laying in bed and he said that he needed to tell me something. Anyways I’m like alright just tell me. He said no I’ll tell you later (he was scared). We started making out and one thing led to the next and all of a sudden he said,” I have to tell you this I have herpes”. I pushed him off of me and was like what the hell! He started apologizing and said that he didn’t mean to say that and he meant to say that he loved me. He got scared and that was the first thing that came to his mind 😂 Also, no he doesn’t have herpes. I give him shit to this day about it.

We had spent the evening together and O didn’t seem to notice him acting strange or anything. We had been dating for about 2 months and he knew that I had a “two month cut off period”, so I’m actually surprised he said this before three months. 
Anyway, so we had spent the evening together (at my house) and I was walking him out. We get to the large cherry-oak door and he leans down to hug me. Then I kissed him. I kissed him again and again and again. So he stops me and says “Madison, I love you”. OMFG STUPID LITTLE ME WAS SO SURPRISED AND EXCITED THAT I just kissed him again and again and again. Then he says, “I actually do have to go now”, then he left. As I close the door behind him, I realize I DIDN’T SAY I LOVE YOU BACK! I was just so excited that the guy I’ve been so distracted by finally told me he loved me. 
The next day, when I had a chance to see him, I said “I’m so sorry I didn’t say it back. I was just so shocked and in love that I forgot. I love you too and I’m so happy you told me. I love you!”. Then he kissed me and we walked into class together. That was my junior year, his senior year.

We have been dating for over a year now. Last night I was at a family party with him (his side). His sister-in-law got drunk, very drunk, and when I walked into the room she says, “OMG it’s Madi, my favorite sister-in-law. I love you sooo much.” And my boyfriend mom says, “hey they aren’t married yet!”. 
So yeah.... everyone thinks we will be getting married in the future. And aside from the family, Matt and I have talked about it and we might be. But that’s Much Much Much farther in the future.

The night before we were on the phone and he said he was at dinner with his mom asking her how do you know if you love someone and I was smiling hearing him talk about their convo. He never said it that night so I was confused cause I was never told that before. The next day he brought me to the library and sat me down and told me he loved me and I said thank you 😂

But later the day we chose to walk home by it started POURING DOWN RAIN. So we got a ride. But as we were waiting we started dancing in the parking lot near the road and he was spinning me and being so cute and I told him I did love him. But he gives me crap cause I said thank you.

My husband and I had just started dating, been together about a month ,took a trip to cedar point was staying at the hotel on the beach 😍 and had quite a few long islands ,I crashed b4 he did (bc c'mon who wants a hangover on roller coasters) and when he came to bed he kissed me good night and told me he loved me 😍 I said tell me again in the morning when your sober lol I love you was the first words out of his mouth in the morning it was adorable! That was almost 8 years ago and were still very much in love 😍
