What do you think of over-used names?

Names like Emma, Emily, Abigail, Sofia, etc 
Basically anything in the top 100.

I think a good, solid name is better than a weird "unique" name that doesn't even make sense or is spelled so butchered.....I'd rather have an Emily than a Paysleigh.

It's not that I hate the names. I'd rather see a hundred Emily's rather than one Abcde.

I have an Emily. I love her name. It's classic and honestly with people naming their kids such off the wall stuff I don't think I have to worry about it being overused.

You mean classic traditionally spelled names? 
I don’t have a problem with them. I prefer them over a lot of the *unique* names I’ve seen on here.

I dislike that I see them everywhere but they are good names. The only down side is that your child may have 10 other Sophia’s in her class. The good thing is, if people would actually look at the SSA site, you can tell how many babies were born to that name per state.

I think top 100 names are all very nice names which is why they are so popular. I have a very popular name and always hated that I always had to be Jennifer K and there were always a bunch of Jennifer's in school, sports teams and even work now. This is why I personally prefer more unique names...but not totally off the wall names!

Considering I have an Emily I love that one. 
Had her name picked out years before it became popular again so I was pretty bummed that so many people used it when I finally had my daughter
