Horrible OB experience. What should I do now?
With me first child I had mild contractions for 3 hours at home before deciding to go to the hospital. Not cause they got bad, but just cause I wanted to have the baby! Lol
Got there and I was 6cm already! Everything went SO fast and not very painful. It was amazing. The doctors asked if I was going to smile the whole time, but I was just having so much fun realizing how it wasn't as bad as I thought.
I had a male doctor who was on call at the hospital my regular OB delivers at. He said some inappropriate things to the nurses, told my husband jokes WHILE I'm pushing, and at one point goes "is my sarcasm bothering you yet?". You can ask the nurses and my husband, I was trying to be extra nice as to not tick him off. When he came to check if I was 10cm, he didn't even warn me. He was extremely aggressive so automatically I jolted back and he yelled at me to sit still. I was in shock. He was so rude even the nurses were whispering "I'm so sorry" in my ear while I was pushing cause he kept saying "that push sucked. You're doing terrible".
Then he waited maybe 5-10 minutes for the placenta and then drugged me up and ripped it out. I cannot describe the pain. Worse than child birth. I couldn't even sleep for nights after that just thinking about the pain.
I made many reviews describing his actions (which other women said the same), and sent in a survey the hospital gave me.
Now my second child is due in July. I LOVE my OB but I'm scared that I may get this man again. And that's not an option. So I thought about asking her if her or the other ladies in that office were willing to be on call for me to make sure I don't get him.
