one sided sharp cramping in lower stomach

hey y'all so I'm 6w2d with my second kid, and everything has been going great until this morning. so I woke up this morning having sharp cramps in my lower right side.. from my hip to my lower stomach. it's only on one side.. but it hasn't stopped all day..it feels worse than a period cramp but its in my lower right stomach. my grandmother said it was just my insides stretching to prepare my body for my growing baby..jw if anyone else has had any similar problems..
