My doctor told me not to take anymore hpt after my positive this morning.... Why is that??

He/she probably doesn't want you to panic if the line went fainter. Prob had previous patients worry. Do as you please though - I regularly tested on internet cheapies right up until 12w!

I got my BFP before my missed period... And continued to test (just to be sure) until my first appt which was at 9 weeks. (I had a bunch on wondfos so I wasn't spending anymore money). I almost wish I hadn't, because sometimes the line wouldn't be as dark and I would freak out, thinking my levels were going down. Looking back, all of that stress was unnecessary... And those tests are pretty accurate. It might not be worth it.
