boyfriends kids mom

hey ladies , my boyfriends daughter came home from her mother's house tonight super sick which she never told us about up until a half hr prior to her coming home. so after the drop off his daughter runs into the bathroom and just throws up everywhere. I move her bed onto the floor with a bucket and towel my bf gave her flu meds... the mother than proceeds to text me and tells me "oh she didn't sleep last night she only got 2 hrs also she only had crackers all day " she fell asleep within 10 mins of being home , it has been 6 hrs and she's only thrown up the size of a golf ball 1 time and she's sleeping.. My question is do u think she should of called off of work ? or just sent her home so I can take care of her knowing I have a 1 yr old who's super cranky (mine and my bf kid)... this is the 5th time that her and my bf son came home sick since Sept. to me I feel like she should of stayed with her mom ...the mom will literally send them here sick , no meds , "can't" bring them to Drs appts, doesn't buy them crap etc etc etc. advice?? no bashing PLEASE. (WE been together for 5 yrs btw)
