Low-lying placenta
I had my 20 week ultrasound a month ago and in my 24 week appt today my doctor let me know that I have a low-lying placenta. This is my second pregnancy and I am carrying very low, so I assumed something was up as my lady parts are always sore and seem swollen. Doctor did not seemed concerned at this point but said we would do another ultrasound closer to my due date to make sure I am not losing amniotic fluid and to monitor our little guy closer. I really don’t want a c-section if possible, although as a HS teacher, I would not mind going on maternity leave earlier 👍 Any women had this and still delivered vaginally?
