How can I tell is my LO is ready to drop a nap?

My LO used to nap every 3 hours. Once in the morning around 9 and then again around 1. We'll she naps from 9-10:30 and then won't nap in the afternoon or if she does its like 15 minutes. Does that mean she's ready to drop the morning nap and just nap in the afternoon?

They say rule of thumb is they are not likely ready to drop the second nap until 15-18 months old. It may be the 12 mo sleep regression. I think main signs would be crankiness and sleeplessness, if they’re not getting enough sleep they get hyperactive and we may just think they’re not tired when they’re actually overtired. Maybe try pushing the morning nap back an hour? And then try the afternoon nap around 2 so naps @ 10 & 2. Idk, my bet is that it is the sleep regression.

My daughter is doing same thing... it's most likely the 12 month sleep regression. I managed to get my LO to take nap two today, first time in 2 weeks! Gave her a bath with some lavender oil added to water :-)

could be. every baby is different my daghter has been doing one nap a day for 2 months now and shes about to be 1!
