Will there ever come a day when society can seperate ahat happens in a strip club, to what happens in a Pole fitness studio?
For anybody who knows anything about Pole fitness or competitive Pole, they know there is no correlation at all. Now I have nothing against strippers either but that's a whole different subject. The media will sit there & describe it as women degrading themselves sexually, without actually knowing anything about the insustry. Yes there can be a sexy side to Pole but there are many sides ro Pole fitness.
Now the big debate at the moment is that classes for children have become in demand. The media of course is crucifing them, saying they are pervets by sexualising children like that. Again for those who would bother to even just visit a Pole studio, they'd know it's not the case. Classes are tailored to the age group and are no different from a gymnastics or dance class, except they use a vertical pole as an apparatus. In most of these classes students also learn acrobatics and dance, plus many offer opportunities to work with a lyra & silks too. Oh and boys attend these classes aswell!
For anybody intrigued as to what competitive pole looks like, search for a duo named ENCHANTED on youtube. They are both Australian and International champions. They are also very down to earth and lovely women with children & families just like you and me.
