Nexplanon makes me gain weight??

I’m 18 and I recently got the implant about 2 months ago. I’ve gained about 5-10 pounds. Is this because of the birth control or is it just normal?? What kind of birth control do you use and how do you like it?

I gained about 90lbs during the two years I was on it. & Now have ovarian cysts and an abnormal period. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just got off of that. I could not lose weight for nothing also. I would do the nuvaring. you don't have to remember to take it every day just take it out for a week and back in!

I didn’t gain any weight on nexplanon. I also had no periods for 3 years. Everyone is different though.

Only birth control I’ve taken that made me lose weight. And it wasn’t good weight loss. I mean I’m holy I lost but not how and how fast made me ill

It’s a possible side effect or you could just be gaining weight since you’re only 18
