Naming kids?

Who named your kids? I know someone who said the wife got to name the girls and the husband would name the boys. I thought that was really weird cause I had never heard of that. In my case we both agreed on the names for all our kids no matter the gender

If it works for them to do it gender based, great. But I think it's best to discuss which names both parents  like & come to a compromise 👍🏼 I know carrying on, say grandparents names and diff traditions will come up and it's good to discuss things like that. I find it not fair for the mom or the Dad to say this is child's name because "I" like it and that's final lol

I come up with the names, and he either agrees and disagrees.

That was my husband and I agreement... she came out a girl but we still agreed on the name... she didn’t have one until the day she left the hospital

My husband came up with with the name if we have a boy and I got the girls name :)
