Should I have sex everyday leading to ovulation, or wait until I'm on my fertile/green days?

So I've been doing some research about this and a lot of articles I've read contradict themselves. Some articles say to wait and have sex during your most fertile days and others articles say to have sex everyday up to ovulation because it increases the chances of pregnancy. So what do you ladies think or what have you done that has worked?

We have sex whenever we feel like it leading up to my fertile window, then once I get my positive opk we have sex as often as our schedules allow. I try to BD the day before O, O, and the day after, in case I ovulated a little earlier or later. But before my fertile window we just do it whenever we’re in the mood.

I’m unsure about this as you find conflicting information everywhere and I personally think it comes down to a matter of opinion. Last month we had sex whenever and made sure to do it (almost) every day during my fertile period and only a couple days after before AF showed up 😒 This month however, we’ve made sure to do it EVERY day before my fertile period and EVERY day except one during. If this doesn’t work in another couple months I might try every other day.
