How many of you are here because of IUI?

Question

anyone become a twin or more mom because of IUI? can you tell me your story?? why you had IUI, how many rounds, what meds you were on, how many follicles you had, anything!

We do iui because my husband has azospermia and we have to use a donor. I have a 2 year old already, and this round I was on letrazole, we did a trigger shot, and I had 3 large follicles. We are having twins.

I have pcos and don’t ovulate normally. We had one loss the first medicated month, We did a year of meds,shots and iuis. Took a year off tried one more time and it was our first hybrid cycle. Clomid/gonql f. 6th iui. I only had one good sized follicle but God laugher, I’m pregnant with other twins and they have their own sac...

We did IUI because my husband’s count was borderline. I took 50mg of clomid and had three follicles. Got pregnant with twins out first round!

I did IUI because of infertility, mainly due to PCOS, endometriosis, and mild MFI. We did 6 or 7 rounds using Femara, gonal-f, and trigger (in addition to metformin, synthroid, vitamins for him, etc.). I got pregnant from my third IUI, but miscarried at 11 weeks. Had a CP/early MC at 5.5 weeks with my fourth or fifth IUI cycle. Ended up pregnant with twins on the last one... I had a 21mm follicle on each ovary at that midcycle ultrasound. I averaged potential 1-4 follicles per cycle, usually. Had better response after I dropped some weight.

I had IUI because of irregular periods. my first IUI was 2015 and I got pregnant the first cycle with 5 days 50mg Clomid and a trigger shot. 2 follicles. My son is 17 months. I had my second IUI in June 2017. Now 27 weeks pregnant with twin girls. Same meds, 2 follicles, first cycle.

I was on my first cycle of injectable meds. I was taking gonal-f. I had 7 mature follicles and they cancelled my IUI. I still had to do the trigger shot, so I knew when I was ovulating and we BD. I ended up with twins.

We do IUI because my husband cannot have children so we use a donor. This is my second pregnancy (we have a 2 y/o). We got pregnant with twins on the first round this time using Clomid and trigger shot and there were 2 follicles. 🙂

Hey! I’m having triplets because of iui- first round :)! I had five follicles and for pregnant with 4, but miscarried one. I’m 17 w 3d and all babies are healthy- Two girls and a boy! Best of luck with it :)
