UK - 1st doctor / midwife appointment
I contacted my GP yesterday to inform them that I am 5 weeks pregnant. The receptionists weren't sure what the procedure was and have booked me in for a non urgent appointment with the GP in two weeks time when I'm 7 weeks. Is this normal or should they have made an appintment for me to see the midwife?
