So I just started talking to this guy, we'll call him J. J and I were really close friends for a while and when i ended my last relationship of 1 year and 9 months, he confessed he had feelings for me and I told him I had feelings for him but I need time before being in a relationship again. he said okay and we'll get back to it. my birthday is this Friday and Christmas is 10 days later and he already said he's getting me a gift for both. I have no idea what to get him because I want to get him something that says "I like you, and I want this to go further bit I also need to learn more about you" and I'd like to avoid things that seem girlfriend-y because I'm not his girlfriend and probably won't be until after new years.
