Hello!

My baby is 2 weeks & 6 days old

I took him to the pediatrician yesterday because of colic and a skin rash. After the doctor weighed him and everything (baby weighs 4.7 kg (10.3 pounds), he told me that my baby is fat for his age and asked how often do I feed him. I told him my baby feeds every 2 hours and we use formula.

He told me that I should be feeding my baby every 3 hours, not 2 and that I should let him cry, even if he cries hard, instead of feeding him 😕

Is the doctor right?

Is my baby "fat for his age"?

I personally felt like it was unnecessary for him to call my baby fat!
