When you guys have been together 10 years living together for 5 and have a kid and one on the way??! Feels weird to call him my boyfriend??

Why haven’t you taken the next step in your relationship? Just curious. You could always get an inexpensive, beautiful ring from Etsy and do a longer engagement until you finalize other plans?

I call my SO papa or Daddy or babe or fiancé even though we’re not married we’re not engaged and we have no kids. He likes that I call him all those names.
