Swaddle?

My pediatrician said to stop swaddling at 2 months. She was sleeping 6-8 hours straight, but without the swaddle we're lucky to get 2. Any one else in the same boat? So 😴

I haven’t swaddled since 2mos. My daughter hated to be swaddled and every morning was busted out anyway. Do you use Halo?  I went from two arms in to just one arm in to then both arms out. And when I went from Newborn to Small I just bought the sleep sack not the swaddle. 
This is how she sleeps. She loves to have her arms up 😂 hence why she hated swaddled I guess

i never swaddled my daughter, she hated it and woukd scream and scream. she was a preemie and wasnt swaddled her first 2 weeks since she was in an isolette so I'm thinking that's why she doesn't like it.

My daughter is 3 months & I still swaddle her. Frankly I'm scared to stop for this exact reason! I wish I had advice for you & I hope your little one sleeps better for you soon!!

We stopped at 2 months, and I noticed she kept startling herself awake and it was terrible getting her back to sleep because her arms were free and she could rub her head and face. we use the sleep sack. luckily I have a swaddle sack that breaks down and the arm band comes off. I have gone back to swaddling her arms pinned with her hands at her face so she can't move her arms around, keeping herself awake. don't get me wrong, we occassionally wake with an arm out, but it's usually up over her head in the "comfort" position as well.

We had to stop swaddling because our little lady decided to roll over at 8 weeks old 😳 the night she did it, we had to stop cold turkey for safety reasons. She went through a transition where she was still startling herself awake, but honestly I felt like stopping the swaddling so soon helped her lose the startle reflex sooner. She adjusted after figuring out how she enjoyed sleeping and finding her sweet spot. It just takes some time for them to adjust to anything new! ☺️

We didn’t swaddle for three straight nights. Baby and I were both exhausted. Went from 6 hours to 2-3. Now most nights we get 6-8. He still startles himself without it. I think we will be fine once that stops.
