Starting birth control pills Sunday, what to expect ??

I finally brought up to my doctor that I want to go on birth control. I asked my doctor what to expect and she told me what to watch out for side effect wise but I wanted personal experience. I heard it might make you gain weight (which I want) but any other body changes I should expect? anything at all I should know about?

You might gain weight, your boobs might get a little bigger, you’ll probably get more emotional. I haven’t really had any bad side effects aside from weight gain and being really emotional sometimes. Other than that getting on the pill has been such a blessing for me. My periods are shorter and  lighter, and the best part is you know when they will come, plus my acne has gotten so much better! Also for the first 3 months or so you might have some spotting
