Subway??

I'm craving a sub with roasted chicken lately. But I've heard that subway is not okay to wat while pregnant. Have any of you eaten subway while pregnant?

My doctor said places like subway and jimmy johns are fine because the turnover for their meat is high. Also you can get your sandwich toasted which heats everything up.

It's the cold lunch meat slices that are debatable. But roasted chicken is roasted, so that's totally fine.

I woke up once at 3 am one night when I was around 7 weeks almost in tears because I wanted a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub from Subway and got one later that next day! 😂 I think Subway in moderation (as long as the meat is heated) is perfectly fine! You're getting fresh veggies and can choose whole wheat bread (if you add veggies) so I'd say it's perfectly fine!

I never ate subway but did during pregnancy for convenience cravings and portions lol go with toasting and you’re fine! I stuck with the steak, chicken and meatballs. To be fair it’s probably how I got most of my veggies in cuz ain’t no one buying veggies at my house 😂

I ate subway atleast biweekly for the past 40 weeks 😂 baby girl is fine and cozy because I'm now needing to be induced tomorrow for how cozy and big she's getting. Never toasted my sandwiches or anything. The risk of bacteria is honestly still there by eating fruits but you never hear about it and it's rare to begin with.
