So it’s getting colder now, and all over tv, it’s depicted that POC (people of color) are cold, starving and need you to donate jackets to either a school or church in a “poor” community.

My issue is; why is it always depicted that POC need help? In my area, half the time I see caucasian children filthy, with no jackets or the proper clothes for the weather.

Why isn’t it shown that all walks of life need assistance and not just POC?
