I got my period a week early?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the weekend, which was apparently my fertile time but I’m on the pill, and now I have my period a week early. It’s pretty light so I’m not sure if I’m just spotting or if it’s the real deal but I have had cramps today. This has never happened before. I’m fairly irregular but it’s usually that I’m a week late, never early.

All month I’ve taken my pill (I missed one day but doubled up the next) but I still get paranoid because I’m so not ready for kids. Not sure if this is normal and I’m freaking out a little for no reason or if there could be more to it? Either way, now I have a weeks worth of pills and I’m not sure what to do with them.

Do you ladies have any thoughts?
