Late period , Can I be pregnant ?????

My period was supposed to come on the 9th but I'm 4 days late now and my husband and I are actually trying to have a baby.i have cramps and my boobs feel heavy, can I be pregnant?  How far should I wait  to take a pregnancy test??? please helpp!! Thank you

Im due af today and it’s still not showed up, but tested this morning and it was negative update is when you can baby dust xx
