Parents of identicals! How do you tell your newborns apart in the beginning?

Mine are fairly new right now and we're delivered at 33+5 because of uneven placenta sharing so at the moment, the bigger darker one is Masyn and the small lighter one is Zayne. lol but when they both start to even out I'm going to paint one of Zaynes toe nails until we find a mark or something to tell them apart.

My sister had identical twins and she could always tell them apart. It wasn't until they were about a year that they started looking different to me.
