Am I wrong?

So this morning my mother in law was sitting with my 8 month old baby and said that she’s her #1 grandma cause the other one is bitchy and ugly. (My mom) I held my tongue because I dont want to argue, it’s not worth it to me. So I tell my husband and I tell him not to say anything! Cause I dont want it to be awkward and I pick and choose my battles. So I go out and continue to make breakfast. He starts talking to his mom in Spanish! I don’t speak Spanish so I had no idea what he was saying. But he was doing what I asked him not to and called his mom out about it.

I felt so betrayed and it was sooo awkward. I’m so mad that I couldn’t trust him not to say anything when he told me he wouldn’t. Now it’s just super awkward and of course his mom denied saying it. Am I wrong for feeling this way?
