12th percentile of growth?

babygirl is in the 12th percentile of growth. should i be worried? what does it mean? is there anything i can do to change that?

mine was 7th percentile and I doubled my protein intake up to 70-80grams per day. you'll get constipation but my baby is now at 30th percentile and the doctor isn't worried anymore. see if it works for you

update: went to the dr today, im 32 weeks and shes measuring at 30 weeks. she’s completely healthy and doctor said shes most likely going to be small but as long as we make it to 36 weeks there should be no problems. lots of relief for this worried momma 😁

I measured at 10th percentile at 29 weeks- having two weekly scans now, fingers crossed she grows!

I'm going through the exact same thing.. I don't have much advice besides the doctor says anything above 10 isn't as bad.

12th percentile is fairly small. It means that 88% of babies her age are bigger than her. Not sure if she’s considered “under weight” or not though. For whatever it’s worth, my first daughter was 6lbs14oz when born and she was considered the 20th percentile. When she was around 2 years old she hit the 50th percentile (which is basically the average and ideal measurement). I don’t know how much your diet is affecting her growth, but I would definitely ask your doctor!! I know that certain things can impact weight (like certain medications and smoking). You still have time to fatten her up! :)
