Went to a bday party for a little boy today and his mom declined to open gifts while the guests were still there. I suppose it shouldn't matter, but I actually love giving gifts and put a lot of thought into what to get him. I look very much forward to seeing the reaction when the paper comes off. I love it when they love it so much they just have to open it right away. Doesn't everyone? I was so dissappointed when she said that opening presents was too much hassle while the house was full. This is the second party I've been to since February where this has happened. Is it some kind of new trend? Curious to know if I'm the only one who's bothered by it!
