ice skating while pregnant??

I haven't gone ice skating in years and a huge rink just opened near me (Spokane ice ribbon) and my best friend wants to take me on Monday. just wondering if it is safe, as I have never fallen while ice skating and I feel as though I could do it safely.

As long as you are careful go for it! I wouldn’t late in the pregnancy when bumping your bump could actually do harm but now baby is so tiny and cushioned you should be fine. Have fun!

if your a confident skater maybe. But otherwise I'd say skip it, I wouldn't want to risk taking a fall

I went curling with my last pregnancy and I was a little freaked but didn’t fall and had a great time!

I say go for it if you’re experienced with ice skating. I’ve never liked it since I heard a story about a kid getting his fingers chopped off by the blade on the shoe. So this makes me extremely petrified of the sport.
