Ending engagement

How would you end your engagement and end the relationship all together? I’m truly torn right now

Edit: we do live together. We’ve been together seven years. He’s never cheated. Hey I feel like he’s not the man I need him to be. He can literally hurt my feelings and I’ll tell him what he needs to do to change he doesn’t. But if I do something to him he expects me to change at that very moment. He’s no help financially. He has no car. He had one never took the necessary precautions to keep the car in good shape. He’s just a toxic person for me.
