After a certain amount of time do you kinda expect a ring?

This is to people who actually want/ believe in MARRIAGE.

After a certain amount of time do you kinda hope/expect a ring? Would you ever break up with someone because there isn’t one?

Example- my sister has been with her man for coming up 7 years. They’ve bought a house, everyone in our family asks her when she’s gonna get married and she has no idea what to say she kinda looks over to her bf in hope he will kinda say when he wants to get married..

Personally! I tell any man I am in a serious relationship that I want marriage and children in my 5-10 year plan and if they don’t have the same goals I wouldn’t move forward....

now as to breaking up honestly I wouldn’t stay with a man for as long as she did without marriage if you sit down and talk to them about it and they don’t have answers or any reason as to why not. I don’t feel like the relationship is going anywhere and PERSONALLY I would move on. I know that marriage isn’t that important to lots of people in this day and age. But it’s important to me. And I kinda just wondered if women kinda secretly expect it after being together for a few years.....

I mean a HEALTHY, HAPPY few years. Not constant fighting, being on the edge of breaking up all the time.

Also how many years until you want a ring?
