For the longest time I used tampons but have since switched to a cup for the past 2-3 years. Honestly I could never see myself using anything other than a cup now. It's so comfortable, cost effective, no waste and no worry of leaving the house and forgetting to pack extra "supplies" plus I feel like they are safer than tampons due to the bleaching process they go through as well as the absorbency issues relating to toxic shock and dryness after. I recommend a cup to everyone who is open to it! Yes it's a little more hands on but it's a natural process and to me it's so worth it. One last thing is that also because it's not absorbed like a pad or tampon you can also monitor your "flow" better and notice if there are any changes to be concerned about

Tampons because somehow no matter what the blood will miss the pad and I feel so gross wearing just a pad on a heavy day. I won’t wear a cup because I’m not open to it at this time in my life lol.

Pads are just easier for me to use. There was a period of time that I was not able to use tampons so I had to get used to using pads anyway.
