Did you miss your period when you found out you were pregnant?

So last month I got what I thought was my period, but as of late, I’ve been very sick. Having flu like symptoms: nausea, vomiting, cramps, sore breast and back, sinus head ache... my temperature has been elevated since my period I thought it was gonna go down it never did... however it has not gotten pass 99.6. My breast ache so bad and then this morning I threw up... afterwards I felt like I had the flu. Now I feel fine, it was there and magically it disappeared. Has this happen to anyone else?

Yes.. you miss your period if you are pregnant. Bleeding while pregnant is common in early pregnancy, but it is not a period because you don’t ovulate and shed your lining if you are pregnant already. 
PMS symptoms mimic early pregnancy symptoms because the hormones are the same post ovulation. You could be experiencing that, or maybe you really are fighting off an illness. Bodies are weird.. they vary cycle to cycle. 
When I got pregnant (I was trying, so I was tracking/charting my cycle and tested before I was “late”) I had very little symptoms outside my normal PMS- which included cramping, breast soreness, and a little nausea. The only different thing was U noticed a little blood in the sink from brushing my teeth (gums can bleed due to increased blood flow) Had I not been trying/tracking my cycle, I never would have thought twice about it. At 6 weeks the real morning sickness kicked in.. that’s when I definitely would have suspected, but not before.
Take a test. It’s the only way to know. Internet strangers can’t X-ray into your body and tell you what’s going on. If it’s negative, that’s what it is 🤷‍♀️ At least you’ll know and stop driving yourself crazy!

I missed my period, but I had an irregular cycle due to pcos. The only symptoms I had were night sweats and extremely sore breasts.

I had small pimples on my breasts (never had that before). I had this discomfort in my lower stomach (like a growing feeling). I had a heavy white discharge (wasn't normal for me).

First pregnancy I knew from the insane smelling power, second pregnancy I knew from my boobs growing from a C to a D and just overall being fantastic lol.

I had no symptoms until my second trimester. My nipples did get a little puffy and I did have to pee more but I thought i was just having trouble with my kidneys again and I thought my ex was sucking my nipples too much which made them puffy. I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was 9 weeks along. Whoops. I did miss my period but I thought I was stressed and it was just late. I was very oblivious to my own body in my first trimester. After I found out I made sure to pay attention to my body.

I took a test on the morning my period was due just for fun. I had no symptoms or anything.
