so my husband and I had a baby in november of 2016 and he is the most amazing thing to ever happen to us. im totally ready to have another one but my husband is not. we have talked about it and he wants to wait until next summer to start trying again. i had lots of issues getting pregnant the first time around and am afraid it will happen again.  i am trying to avoid another winter baby. advice please?

Your baby is only a month old then? Your body needs to heal, and it’s generally not recommended to get pregnant for 12 months. Kiss your baby and give yourself a chance to relax.

Enjoy the first year with your baby!! Your son deserves your full attention without you dealing with morning sicknesses or other pregnancy issues. Your son needs you his first year more than anything😊😊

I am completely with you on a summer/spring baby. I think the best compromise is waiting another year so you can have a baby at that time... honestly, life goes by so fast, and looking back being pregnant (especially the last month haha) seemed like foreverrrr but my daughter is 4 months old today and I barely remember it! Well. Same goes for waiting to have another. Enjoy your first. Honestly, when they get a personality and grow up into a little human being you start to wonder if you even want another. We want four, I am 29, and I am waiting at least two years... that way Everleigh is almost 3 and can help me. Idk how tired you were in first trimester but I couldn’t imagine having another baby. It sounds like waiting even longer isn’t a compromise, but trust me, a spring summer baby is the best for numerous reasons that I’m sure you’ve thought about. Time flies, enjoy your first with your husband. You only get to be that little family once in your life, then everything changes. You might totally disagree but just something to think about! :)

You can start next month and who knows by the time ur pregnant you just might have a winter baby..... or u can start next year like he wants and not have one.... you can't really plan when it will happen.  It's best to be on the same page.

Respect your husband, pushing a baby before someone is ready is never a good idea. Having a baby is so awesome... enjoy the one you have. time will fly by so quickly as it is. Being sick and tired from being pregnant while you have a really young baby waking at night is hard anyway.

You could compromise and both agree on a month that is in between then and now. Hopefully you both come to an agreement!

That’s REALLY not healthy for your body. It needs (in a perfect world) two years to heal, and prepare for the next child.
