How long? Miscarriage.

Question

Not the happiest of topics, but I don't have anyone to really ask. I just moved states so I don't have a doctor yet. If you've had a miscarriage, how long does the bleeding last? I spotted for 3 days. And am now on day 5 of very heavy flow with blood clots. Total days bleeding, 8. I wasn't far along. Hadn't even missed my period yet. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Funny because I think I miscarried last month but I can’t be sure. I bleed heavy normally, but the type of bleeding and clots that was coming out scared the leaving daylight out of me.  I bled for 6 days. ( which is my normal length5-6 days) but it was followed by 3-4 days of spotting. I took a blue die test which showed a very very very faint line, but a few days after when I used a red line it was negative so I don’t really know what happened, but I had LOTS of clots.

Everyone’s different...I bled for 2 months! Not heavy but like a regular period.

My first I was 5weeks and bled fairly heavily for 6 days then spotted/light bleeding for another week. With my second I was 7 weeks and bled for 8 days and that was it, it wasn’t even heavy except when passing tissue.

I was 14 wks when we miscarried 😔 and bled for 15 days. If you weren’t as far along as I was, then I would assume the bleeding won’t last as long for you.

3 days to a few weeks unless there is retained material then until the material gets surgically removed
