So, there are "45" days left until my due date, give or take when she actually arrives! For the past week or so, my female cat has been acting kinda strange. She already has become protective of my belly and wants to cuddle more, but this is different. She has been trying to steal my pillows, not off the bed, but she lays on them making it so I can't use them and in the process she has tried smelling them intensely and sucking on them. Last night she tried to suck on the blanket and today she laid next to me and licked my sleeve. I don't let her continue this because I find it repulsive. I shove her off the bed and she tries her hardest to stay put. She does all of this in my face which I hate too. She has also started acting more needy. She has never acted like this. She was fixed as a kitten before she ever had babies herself, but my coworker brought up an interesting thought that maybe she is nesting too because of my pheromones that I'm giving off? I just wanted to share this because my due date is approaching and she's getting weirder lol. Has anyone else's pets acted weird during their pregnancy or close to their due date? 😂🐱
