Why pink test over blue?

I see a lot of comments saying to use pink tests rather than blue dye and I’m just curious why 🤔 I’ve seen they’re faulty but is there a reason?

To me- pink tests are just easier to see. I also think that FRER's are more sensitive than some of the other brands but they can be pricey. Dollar store tests work just as well too.

The blue dye can sometimes look like a faint positive. To me first response is a pretty clear negative or positive
