Should the President be permitted to ban federal agencies from using certain words and phrases in official documents?
Multiple news sources are reporting that the CDC has been banned from using the words listed below. One article says the phrase “science-based” should be replaced with the phrase, “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes.”
This is going too far. The CDC and other agencies work for the good of our country and should not be censored. I find it to be completely inappropriate for the current administration to ban the use of words.
