BUT it was with the help of provera. I went to an OBGYN about 2 weeks ago since I was on cycle day 100 and still hadn’t got a period..

She said the things i described sound like PCOS and ordered some blood work to see how everything’s working. lol She prescribes the Provera for 7 days so I took it and got my period last saturday. 🙌🏽

I’m still on my period but it’s finally stopping. Along with the blood work she also ordered an ultrasound which I did last week.

Both my blood work results and ultrasound results are consistent with PCOS. 😭

This was definitely hard to hear.

I came off birth control in February of this year and my husband and I have been “not really trying but trying” ever since. I got a few periods since february but my last period was in august and hadn’t got one until last saturday.

well I have a drs appt on tuesday to discuss treatment with my OBGYN
