Baby Evelyn was born on Monday night, 3 days late.

My labour was long, the epidural didn’t work and I spent a good 2hrs pushing but we got there in the end and my gorgeous little bundle arrived happily and safely.

Weighing 3.4kgs (7lbs 8oz), 53cms long and 35cm head circumference.

What a whirlwind the last few days have been adjusting to motherhood. Breastfeeding has been my biggest challenge these last few days so I’m getting help from a Lactation consultant which I’m sure will be great for both Evie and I.

How are all our dec mums going? What have you found to be the most challenging part of parenthood for the new parents out there?
