Cigarette smoke πŸ˜–πŸ˜·πŸ˜‘

M β€’ Loving life! ❀️✌️
This is definitely a little rant but I'm curious to hear some other opinions from other places too.
I live in Southern California in a smaller town inside Los Angeles county and like most in this area we are a "Smoke Free City". That means it's illegal to smoke in public places, your own property is fine. Unfortunately the grey area is that "your property" includes your car...with windows rolled down. I'm extremely bothered by the fact that I can't even drive with my windows down on the streets of my own city because there is always someone spewing that filth out of their car! I'm pregnant, have multiple sclerosis, and asthma- all conditions that I have no choice but to avoid cigarette smoke for! I get that most smokers got addicted before they were old enough to know better but that doesn't mean I need to deal with it. If the point of a smoke free city is to keep the air clean I feel that the law should include keeping windows rolled up if you're going to smoke because blowing it out into the air sort of negates that smoke free thing...
I won't even start on the people who choose to blatantly ignore the law and smoke ON the street because that's a whole other level of rude! What are your thoughts on this?
