Yesterday I had brown gooey discharge and didn’t think anything of it for some reason.

I had protected (like always) sex this morning and there was a lot of brown discharge on the condom. It’s the afternoon now and I’ve just started bleeding. It looks very light and still gooey like discharge and I’ve not had any pains. (Felt a bit unwell last night but no idea what was causing that). My <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">period tracker</a> apps all say I’m in my fertile window so I’m hoping it’s just a sign of ovulation.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or should I go to the doctors/do a pregnancy test?

Also I’m not using any contraception and my period was earlier than usual last month
