Embarrassingly uneducated
I had a female friend, a year older than me. I don't even remember how it happened, but we'd grind fully clothed in her bedroom sometimes. I was uneducated (9) and didn't want to risk getting pregnant (didn't think it was possible, but still scared), so we'd put a pillow between our pubic bones. At least by then, I knew that you didn't birth a baby by throwing it up. I got sex ed the following year.
