Apples to oranges. Sex while sober is more emotionally intimate and vulnerable. It’s more intentional if that makes sense. Sex while high, for me at least, is purely physical. Physically everything is intensified. If I had to choose though, I’d absolutely choose sober. Nothing beats emotional intimacy to me.
