Lilly Grace 🎀💜

Friday night I was taking a bath and I stood up, blood started gushing out everywhere so I grabbed a towel and put it underneath me and called for my husband. When I got out I had 4-5 more gushes of blood and he called 911 and my midwife. During that time I soaked a whole towel with blood. The ambulance came out and by the time they got to our house the bleeding had slowed to a heavy period bleed so they checked my vitals and her heartbeat and said it was up to me whether they took us to the hospital in our county or my husband take me to the hospital where my midwife delivers. So since the vitals where good I chose for my husband to take me. At the hospital I bled the whole time and had two more bad scares with the gushing of blood. They had everyone on call for an emergency c section..I was stuck at a 5 FOREVER, finally I told them I was starting to feel the contractions again (which I hadn't been since I had an epidural) and they checked me I was at a 10 only 30 minutes after the last time they checked me and I was at a 5. I was never so glad to hear those words! Pushing went awesome! Only pushed for 15 minutes and she was out. My husband helped pull her out. :) we had planned on doing delayed cord clamping but we couldn't due to bleeding and needing me to get the placenta out. Turns out I had a tear in my placenta. God was truly watching over us. Miss Lilly Grace was born at 7:25 pm on May 16th, 2015 weighing 6lbs 4oz and 20 in long. We're in love. 💜💗
