IVF training?

On dec 20th, my husband and I are going to Nashville Fertility clinic to be trained in the IVF process. since the training lasts all day, what all will be covered? Also how soon after the training can you begin an IVF cycle? Any experiences with this would be appreciated!!

I didn’t have to do a training. It’s pretty straight forward so I’m not sure why you would need an all day training?

We were in WI, but it was quick! We had injection training on April 12 and began Lupron on April 16. Stims began April 28. Our ER was May 11 with a fresh transfer on the 16th. The first beta was May 26 (but I cheated and tested on the 24th!).

My clinic requires all couples to go to a 3 hour education session before we could start treatment.  The session focused on the physical, financial and emotional aspects of the process but I think the main driver was to ensure everyone understood the basic statistics and knew was counselling available.  We had done all our testing first and so were able to start treatment a month or so after the session.

I am going to Nashville fertility! I love out of state but did my training in Tampa! Dr. Whitworth is amazing and andie is my nurse and incredible! We were told we would need three stims and they were able to get me in one stim and we just did our first transfer and hoping IT works! They are amazing there!
